Hello new thread cones!!! Welcome to my home!
I got these darling little jars from my daughter-in-law, (thank you, Brook), and couldn't resist ordering thread to match! Notice how each one is numbered and they have little lids on them....so dang cute!
Then I had to thumb through all my crocheted squares, yes, that's the only shape I know how to crochet....and stack them up so I can drool over them....again! I do this quite often.
And just because I'm in a COLOR mood I had to stack my gift towels up on my colorful ironing board, folded just right, so I can "ahhhhh" over the cute bindings.
Oh, how I love color!!!
those little pots are ADORABLE. Brook sure knows here mother-in-laws taste!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I love those little pots. So cute! I can only crochet squares right now, too! Just learning.
ReplyDeleteDan teases me all the time...."is that another square?" "Yes, dear, it's another square." funny man...
DeleteWow! You got the colors to match perfectly! Are they filled with anything?
ReplyDeleteI got paint to match, too. I've painted a cupboard and a shelf with the pretty blue & aqua. They aren't filled with anything right now. They did have fun little candies in them, but I love the idea of spices, like yours.
DeleteOh how cute!! Your thead and pots match perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThat is great that you can crochet squares. :0)
cute pots. what's the story on the "gift towels"? you bind them? More info please!
ReplyDeleteYep - and I applique the name on the towel with giant letters out of the same fabric as the binding.....so darn cute!
DeleteOh my God the jars are so cute!!! Agree with you those bindings are great and colourful!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely HAVE to HAVE those cute little jars. Would Brook like to share where she got them? Love the way you matched thread colors to the jars! Love your blog, BTW! Thanks, Diane Parks in (HOT) Tennessee!
ReplyDeleteOK - so I searched and found them at Anthropologie...

I should have known - my daughter-in-law loves that site! Happy shopping!
Rats....they are no longer available from Anthropologie......I'm still looking on other sites! They have a store in Nashville, which is about 2 hours from me......road trip! I'll let you know if I have any luck! :)
ReplyDeleteDouble rats!!! I love them....I guess I don't need to keep saying that. Right now they're empty but I'm thinking of moving them into my kitchen to put spices in them. Good luck! Let me know if you find any!
