The Sink...

Last spring the husband & I went house shopping.
We came across this funky little sink in this teeny tiny bathroom.

My husband's response was, "Well, that'll have to go".
Silly husband words!!!
I loved the baby-bird-egg-blue sink and it was a selling point in this home for me.
Yes - we bought the home by the lake with the blue sink.
I promised the hubs I would do something fantastic in this teeny tiny bathroom to calm down "enhance" that blue sink.
Here's what I came up with...
I've had this very old window frame for years.

I thought it was the perfect frame for a modern, scrappy, crazy patch quilt.
So I took 10" squares of some of my most favorite fabrics and went to town!
I stacked them...
I sliced them...
I shifted them...
I sewed them back together again...

Then I quilted them with a tight wave.

I stapled my mini quilt to the back of my very old frame and hung it up.

The husband looked at it and said, "That's nice"...
A man of few words.
