I'm not a huge fan of hearts, but, I love this little heart pattern.
I used some fat quarters from the "Recipe for Friendship" fabrics by Mary Engelbreit.
You can see they are from 2007 - but still very cute.
I've made it several times - it's easy, fast and fun.
You just layer your fat quarters, iron the freezer paper pattern on top of the stack, cut on the lines,
shift the pieces,
and sew them back together.
It was finally a sunny day so I ran outside to snap a few photos.....love my little birdhouse in our tree.
I used a cream chenille on the back.....so soft.
I quilted a simple stipple all over and curvy outlined inside the hearts.
Finished just in time to snuggle under!
Do you have plans for Valentine's Day?
Oh how cute!!! :o)
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a sweet quilt. Thanks for sharing how it is done.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful and cozy quilt. Love the fabrics used.
ReplyDeleteSame as me - not a huge heart fan, but this turned out so cute. Love it!!! Enjoy snuggling on Valentine's Day and beyond!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I would think the soft chenille on the back would make it extra cozy!

I love the quilt, it has a cozy rustic look
ReplyDeleteMy family lives in Montana. I’ve looked everywhere for this pattern but can’t find it. I’m also a very seasoned quilter
ReplyDeleteI’m also trying to locate the pattern. It doesn’t appear to be in the book “Gone Crazy” by Buggy Barn. Would you please verify the pattern name and publisher? Thank you
ReplyDeleteLove it ! Where can I get the pattern?
