Minnie, from Texas, recently sent me this absolutely adorable quilt to quilt.
It was a block-of-the-week sampler.
(I can't even seem to get a block of the MONTH completed at my house)
She has entered it in a "30's fabric" local quilt show within her community.
She used Lori Holt's book, "Quilty Fun" which you can find here in Lori's Etsy shop.
Minnie did a phenomenal job on this little quilt!
I could hardly wait to get my hands & machine on it!
Minnie said, "Do your magic".
So I quilted every block section different - I love doing that!
Here we go - lots and lots of photos!
This cute red border needed some straight line echoing:
leaves...
bumble bee...
I could have an entire quilt out of the "X's" and 1/4 squares...
butterflies...
mugs & leaves...
courthouse step blocks...
apples & apple core...
Every sampler needs a home...or two!
Look at those little spools below the houses...
baskets and stars...
Minnie chose a solid red for the binding - perfect!
I think this sweet little quilt is definitely a winner!
Thank you, Minnie, for letting me play on your "Bee Happy" quilt.
