Button, button, who has the button?

I love buttons of all shapes, sizes, colors and personalities....just like people!
My sweet daughter-in-law, Brook, gave me these "Weck" jars a while back.  (thank you, again and again).
I sorted my button collection, thinking I had lots and lots...guess I need to keep collecting!
Oh - looky at the cute window decal I have...maybe you won't notice the dirty window!  good grief...

  1. How cute are they! Love your decal too! My buttons are sorted by colour in old Kraft Peanut Butter Bear jars. No room to display them, so they are stuck on a shelf in the closet.

    1. Thanks! The view is actually from my basement sewing room - just beyond the rocks & plants is the Ennis Lake...I'm a very lucky lady!

  3. Love your blog... and thought I should tell you :) I get your email updates; your upbeat, fun posts, and beautiful quilting are always a welcome treat in my inbox. I am also "seasoned" but still work long hours at a busy job....Taking a break to read your latest post on my iPhone is a great change of pace!
And buttons... I inherited my mom's jar of buttons when she died suddenly. Whenver I look for the right button in her jar, I think of her picking out these buttons, and I love the memories.
    Keep up the great work!

    1. Melinda - your kind words touched my heart. I'm so glad I can add a little cheer to your "inbox". :) Buttons have such a connection to people - I grab one of mom's buttons on occasion, too. Love the memories attached to items! Thank you so much for your comments!
