Remember my green bench that my husband found in the basement of the old VFW hall?
This is the BEFORE photo:
It's rather boring just sitting there all by itself - so I added a colorful quilt & some flowers...but, it's still boring.
It needed to wake up!
This is the AFTER photo:
(I took my friend's advice - Hi Barb - and painted it red)
I like it much better.
The little pillows add a nice little touch.
I'm much happier with the new look.
Gosh I adore that bench. I love the red color.
ReplyDeletethanks, Denise. It was a great "find".
DeleteI love your bench!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's fun to just....sit!
DeleteAwesome colour. It goes well with your "barn" quilt too !
ReplyDeleteThank you, Evelyn. I don't usually do "matchy, matchy" but these just happen to be my favorite colors...in the moment!
DeleteLOve it and such a pretty color red!! Beautiful quilt, too! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather. It's a soft red - not screaming red! I do love my green quilt.

ReplyDeleteI knew you would love it!
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeletethank you, Sarah!
DeleteI just painted an old bench and put it on my front porch too. Mine is red as well and looks awesome. I get more compliments than I did when it was brown!
ReplyDeleteNext spring I'm painting the front door red to match!
