One more table runner - I had to wait until after Christmas to post this one....it was a gift!

My sister-in-law, Carol, loves Sunflowers.
I found this kit at Connecting Threads and just knew it would be perfect for her.
My sweet friend, Trish of Notes Of Sincerity, pieced it for me.
She does beautiful work!
If you need someone to do a bit of piece work for you - Trish is your gal!

The back - perfect for the sunflower lovers in our lives.

The wildlife are starting to hang out in our backyard a lot lately.  I never get tired of watching them watch us!

We found an eagle convention going on down the road.
There were at least a dozen of these amazingly beautiful birds just hanging out.

  1. Pretty runner! We have a pair of eagles that spend a fair amount of time perched in a tree on our lakeshore which I can see from my computer chair... the last few days they have been really puffed out and talkative. I guess they aren't enjoying sub zero daytime temps either!

  2. Hello Kathy, your runner is so pretty and the photos of wild life are amazing. We were traveling through Montana many years ago. I fell in love with the beauty of your state, so much that I told my husband that if I ever got mad enough to leave him and he wanted me back . . . he could find me in Montana, LOL. We have enjoyed 38 years of marriage and I haven't left yet, LOL.
I am your newest follower and I would love to invite you over to visit my blog. At the moment I am celebrating my 2nd year as a blogger and I'm having a give-a-way:)
Have a lovely day and bundle up, I do hear that you have some very cold winters.
    Your blogging sister, Connie :)

  4. I had so much fun piecing the runner for you. I love the quilting you did!! :o)
Your wildlife friends are stunning! I too love sharing our space with critters and wildlife. Right now I have quite a few bunnies who have made their homes on our property. They are so much fun to watch scampering about. :o)

  5. Hi Kathy,

Did you quilt your runner on your longarm or on your domestic machine? I love that stitch....

    1. I quilted it on my longarm machine - just a tiny little wave - it was so fun! I looks like that fabulous one that Miss Amanda Jean does on her Janome! Only this was much speedier!
