It's a very, very good day to do some baking!
I made some granola bars from Trish's recipe. She posted them on her blog and I just had to try them. The only thing I did differently is use 1/2 wheat flour and 1/2 white flour.
OOPS - guess you're not supposed to put the entire bottle of honey in the microwave to get it melty!
They should print that on the outside of the jar.

I also mixed Craisins and toasted almonds in 1/2.....
well maybe 2/3.....of the batter....
Mmmmmmm - my kitchen smells so good!

DeleteI like to warm my honey too...only for a few seconds. I open up my jar so that it can let any steam escape...perhaps that could have helped?

Wellllll....I did take the lid off, but I'm "nuked" it for about 1 min. That could have something to do with it! Funny - on the mailing part! Hugs back!
DeleteKathy, those look so good! I like the idea of the ww flour, almonds and craisins. Maybe a couple of tablespoons of ground flax might be a good addition too! Definately on my baking list!

The number is on the bottom in the recycle symbol.
