baby elephant finish...

I was recently asked by a family member, hi - Rachel, to make a simple girly baby quilt using elephant prints.
These are the prints I found at Fabricworm:

so, so cute!

I cut different width strips out of each print to add up to about 52" in length, then sewed them together
and quilted an all-over wave pattern.

I used some fun fleece pieces I had on hand to make the mom and baby elephants, then fused them on and buttonhole stitched around them.

For my pattern, I found this print online and enlarged it.
I guess I could have enlarged the print from the fabric, as well.

For the backing I used this flannel chevron - also from Fabricworm.

All bound and headed home to Michigan.
sweetness!
