My friend, Jami - from Idaho, makes the most beautiful quilts using Civil War prints.
They have little bunkhouses on their property and she now has a personally made quilt for each bed.
She has designed most of these lovely quilts and her work is flawless!
Sit back and enjoy the show!
This is her 16-patch/pinwheel quilt.
I quilted feathers in the pinwheels and cross-hatched the 16-patch's.
Beautiful!
The backing...
Borders on another quilt - ric-rac, ribbons and swirl feathers:
This was one of my favorite borders - string blocks.
She started each center with a black print - gives it that zig-zag look.
This is a simple vertical row quilt.
I cross-hatched the pieced rows and feathered the solid rows.
I have my own stash (3 tubs - oh my!) of civil war prints....waiting to be cut into and made into something
Civil War-ish!
Thank you, Jamie, for letting me quilt these beautiful quilts for your bunkhouses!
