I love making oven mits.
I had a "ta-da" moment and discovered if I just sew a bunch of strips together, layer them with one layer of cotton batting, one layer of Thinsulate (used for heat control in the mits), and the backing - then quilt the entire piece on my machine - it's a whole lot easier than constructing each individual mit! So here's my soon-to-be "mitts quilt"!
Be sure to cut mirror images - right and left parts!
I added binding and loops for a nice finish.
(two gifts - DONE!!!)
